《猛鬼3宝》结集三个都市猛鬼故事。 《猛鬼监狱》讲述本地灸手可热的影星明乐 (凌文龙 饰)，除了因为演出代表正义的“狱中神探”一角闻名，亦是出了名的喜欢饮醉酒开工。一日明乐又饮至醉醺醺才开车往山旮旯的片场拍夜戏，谁知在路上撞死了人！明乐惊慌之下决定肇事逸逃，到达片场后， 他才发觉今晚拍的是一场监狱闹鬼的戏，而和他演对手戏的“女鬼”思思 (钟雪莹 饰) 竟然是…… 《猛鬼工厦》讲述阿君 (苏致豪 饰) 是一名的士司机，他的女朋友乃瑶 (郭奕芯 饰) 一直嫌弃阿君揸的士，阿君为挽回感情，打算和乃瑶去Staycation让她可以在姊妹前炫耀一下，但阿君只够钱订了一间位于工厦内的Party room，令乃瑶生气得正式提出分手。正当乃瑶要一走了之，一阵阴风吹过，自此乃瑶像变了另一个人，对阿君温柔体贴，两人重拾当初激情，在和乃瑶连场激战多个晚上后，阿君日渐憔悴，朋友肥乜 (许贤 饰) 怀疑阿君撞鬼，决定替天行道，和这只专吸阳气的“淫鬼”决一死战。

有只僵尸暗恋你

平面模特陈美诗Macy（贾晓晨 饰）自小就有阴阳眼，能够看见鬼魂，她常年和死去的奶奶的鬼魂住在一起。这天，Macy和其他几个模特拍摄一组僵尸主题的照片，摄影师Roman（李灿森 饰）苦于找不到灵感，于是老板King少（彭敬慈 饰）和当红模特Chelsea（孟瑶 饰）等一行人前往荒僻的东龙岛拍摄。岛上，无所事事的沙胆威（郭晋安 饰）等警员迎来了新任领导徐督察（谷祖琳 饰），徐督察性格强硬，指令警员们严格执法，可在这平和小岛上犯罪本就是稀有事件。Macy等人登岛后，警员们颇为兴奋，但很快怪事频发，空气中时常出现令人难耐的臭气，继之警员发现了僵尸的踪迹。原来东龙岛上有King少的祖先之墓，其祖因受诅咒变为僵尸王，此刻正是僵尸王重返人间作乱的时机……

黑夜怪谈

故事以倒叙形式表达。夏氏兄弟经营之公司业务蒸蒸日上，原来背后有一段曲折往事。夏云骧年老病危，临终时不忘教诲儿子二人要兄弟同心，相亲相爱。长子仲觉敦厚踏实事父至孝，幼子仲慧却沉迷赌博玩乐。表妹江静霞自幼寄居夏家，钟情于二表哥慧，常与觉规劝慧，慧却疑父偏爱兄长，不时与觉冲突。 骧病逝，觉不支病倒，慧欲独占家产，逼老仆忠伯在觉的药中下毒，觉毒发身亡后，慧终日被觉的鬼魂缠绕，更误把新婚妻子霞当作觉，把她杀死，觉鬼魂再度出现欲扼杀慧。。。。。。慧惊醒，方知是噩梦一场，赶忙阻止觉服下毒药，并向兄忏悔改过。两兄弟携手合作经营父亲遗业，创出佳绩。

蚁王杀机

Stuart Gordon, considered a master of the horror genre thanks to classics like Re-Animator and Dagon, decides to do a different move in this strange trip to human morals. &quotKing of the Ants&quot is about a regular guy, Sean Crawley(newcomer Chris McKenna), a man without any aspiration who just live in his apartment doing the necessary job to live to the next day. In one of his jobs he meets Duke(Gearge Wendt), who introduces Sean to his boss, Ray Matthews(played by Daniel Baldwin). Ray hires Sean as a spy, and orders him to follow Eric Gatlin(Roy Livingstone), an accountant who has been investigating Ray&#39s company. Problems start when Ray, while drunk, orders Sean to kill Eric. And he does it. Things go wrong when Ray decides to make Sean disappear destroying his mind with violent punishment and humiliation. From the point where Sean kills Eric, we go in the same boat with him, as he goes through a downward spiral of human degradation, traveling from guilt, to confusion and finally to his rebirth, in a state where humanity, morals and values are not important anymore. Chris McKenna acting is very important because he manages to be likable even when he is part of gruesome acts, both as victim and/or criminal. He has that look of innocence that hides a dark side and he manages to carry the film. The support cast also includes Kari Wuhrer, as Eric&#39s widow who also becomes a central part of Sean&#39s trip to hell. She gives a fine performance, although it&#39s obvious that Sean is the main character. He is the most developed of all and McKenna&#39s performance is up to the challenge. The film has very disturbing images of violence, and while it may not be as graphic as &quotKill Bill&quot for example, the strength of the violence is in the lack of humanity that the character manifest. He is more than an ant in this world. He is the king. Stuart Gordon has managed to create a film that, while maybe it&#39s not one of his best efforts it&#39s very well done, has a VERY interesting story to tell, and manages to capture the attention every second of it.
