这是一部娱乐性与竞技性都极强的真人密室逃脱节目，参加比赛的两支队伍要在特定场景中进行密室逃脱。每支队伍都是由三个互相不认识的陌生人组成的，他们只有一个小时的时间来解决不同的谜题和挑战。时间就是金钱，时间每流失一分钟，奖金的金额也会随之减少。他们必须率先逃脱，因为只有获胜的队伍才能获得价值等于25000美元的奖金。
